Late in the evening of September 25th 2016, Jeremiah Magno was gunned down in the street in front of his house. Nathalie, his 3-year-old daughter, slept not thirty feet away in the house Jeremiah shared with his mother.
No one saw the shooting occur, but a number of neighbors heard the four gunshots and rushed outside to see three men rushing away on two motorcycles. Some ran to his body but it was too late. Jeremiah, who had used shabu in the past but been clean after voluntarily surrendering under Operation Tokhang months ago, was dead.
